The 2019-2020 Certificate Program in Health Professions Education & Teaching kicked off it’s fourth year earlier this month. This 12 month program allows faculty and professional staff to enhance skills as educators and researchers. Participants take courses based on the AHEAD educator competencies throughout the year and complete an educational research project.

The objectives of the program include:
- Support Faculty Development for interprofessional education (IPE)
- Develop an innovative project based on departmental or school need in IPE
- Produce a sustainable model of faculty development in a new IPE community
- Develop a community core faculty who could serve as resources for other faculty
