Duke AHEAD and Duke IPEC Center are excited to announce Education Week March 3 – March 6, 2020.
Health Professions Educators are often lacking resources needed to advance educational research and scholarship. In recognition of this challenge, we are proud to announce the Duke AHEAD Supports Health Professions Educators (DASHE) program. DASHE Vouchers are designed to be used in a wide variety of ways by connecting our educators with high quality academic services that facilitate their engagement in scholarly work.
Duke AHEAD and the new Duke Health Center for Interprofessional Education and Care (IPEC) are pleased to join forces to offer grant funding for Duke faculty and affiliated health professionals engaged in education program development for students enrolled in foundational degree programs at the Schools of Medicine and Nursing—this includes Doctor of Physical Therapy, Physician Assistant, Doctor of Medicine, and Nursing (ABSN, MSN, NP). This funding is intended to provide support for innovative curricula aimed at students from two or more professions to learn “about, from, and with” each other. Our purpose is to support the development of programs that will provide students authentic experiences in interprofessional education and care.
