Education Day breakout sessions present the opportunity for our health professions educators to examine broad HPE topics from a variety of perspectives which result in rich conversation among our diverse professions. Sessions will be scheduled for 40 minutes and are in small group rooms typically reserved for audience sizes of 15-40 participants. You may be asked to present the session twice. To apply, please submit a proposal to include the elements below (limit 950 words) to dukeahead@dm.duke.edu via Word document or PDF.
The proposal must include the following:
- Title
- Presenters and their school/department
- Purpose: What problems or issues were identified and addressed?
- Description of proposed format of session
- Results/Outcomes
- Significance: What implications do these lessons hold for now or the future?
Proposals will be reviewed by our Education Day planning committee and those selected will be informed the week of July 8th.
