Now Offering: Duke AHEAD Teaching Advice

Share

For our health professions educators who are looking for specific and constructive feedback from peers, look no further!  Borrowed from the success of the Teaching Observation Program in the Duke Physician Assistant Program, Duke AHEAD Teaching Advice (DATA), is partnering our members with peers to improve teaching and learning in our health professions programs at Duke.

The program is simple:

  • Sign up through the form below and you'll be matched with another member.
  • Participants will schedule a short meeting (informal!) to set expectations and schedule the observation.  Observers are invited to attend a live class (in-person or an asynchronous recording)  or clinical rounds
  • Upon completion of the teaching session, observers will fill out a brief Qualtrics form to be shared with the observee. These forms are confidential.
  • For promotion and tenure, you may request a letter confirming your participation, either as an observer or an observee.
