Tell us about yourself.

I am a Med-Peds Adolescent Medicine specialist and care for teens and young adults as they transition through adolescence and into young adulthood. I have a particular interest in youth with eating disorders and other chronic health conditions and the preservation of ideal cardiovascular health throughout adolescence and young adulthood. I am also active in teaching our residents and students about adolescent health topics and clinical approaches to caring for this important group optimally.

What do you hope to get out of Duke AHEAD?

What can Duke AHEAD do for you?

Duke AHEAD is invaluable in providing opportunities for continuous professional development, networking, and attainment of funding to support important educational innovations.

Why did you join Duke AHEAD?

I was eager to develop partnerships with other faculty members and continuously improve my own skills in conducting and evaluating educational activities.
