Center for Interprofessional Education & Care - Seeking Assistant Directors

We are pleased to announce an opportunity for faculty with a passion for interprofessional education and care at Duke Health.    The new Center for Interprofessional Education and Care aims to expand opportunities for learners and clinicians throughout the health system to enhance their skills in IP practice.  In order to achieve this mission, the Center has committed resources to support faculty time to work with the Center Director, Mitch Heflin, as Assistant Directors to develop and evaluate new programs.  Various areas of focus will include preclinical and clinical education, faculty development, evaluation and scholarship.  Assistant Directors will be supported to spend one full day of of their time working together as a team at the Center.   Our goal is to have team members start in this role by January 2020.

We are seeking motivated faculty interested in joining an interprofessional team to lead this effort.  The application includes:

  • A cover letter summarizing your interest in the position and qualifications
  • A copy of your curriculum vitae
  • A letter of support from your department chair, division or program head, attesting to your qualifications and their support for your time.
