The Center for Nursing Discovery’s (CND) simulation program was granted accreditation by the Society for Simulation in Healthcare. The award will be presented at the annual IMSH conference in Orlando on Monday, January 30, 2017. Michele Kuszajewski and Margie Molloy along with other DUSON Faculty Members will be there to accept the award. This achievement was a group effort and one that the CND Staff and CND Advisory Board are proud of.
Why we sought accreditation?:
- Adds value to DUSON and enhances the reputation of our nursing programs
- Demonstrates our commitment to meeting established standards of excellence
- Acknowledges our leadership in the use of simulation for teaching/learning
- Duration is 5 years with annual study reports
